Kaspar Kikerpill is with me and we had this idea we could read a book about a comedians life and then talk about their career decisions.

I thought we could start on "The War for Late Night" which is all about Conan O'Brien and Jay Leno and the crazy show business drama behind the scenes of their late night talk shows. So we talk a bit about the history of late night shows and how they fit into American culture. Then we are try and focus on the interesting little management details, like weird terms they would put in contracts and how that stuff made huge effects later. About half way through reading this book I realised omg how many twists this story had that I really should have chosen an easier story but fuck it, we had come that far so and the story is really interesting, so here it is.

This is Conan's first ever "Late Night with Conan O'Brien", remember this guy had been a writer for SNL, then for the Simpsons and this was really his first tv thing ever, its nuts

Thanks for listening, we are trying different ideas for episodes so if you like something shout me out. If I am doing something really annoying also please tell me. It's for my own good.
