Follow-ups/Corrections
Skydance X Paramount - Skydance Media, founded by David Ellison in 2006, is in discussions to merge with Paramount Pictures' parent company, National Amusements, in a deal that would see Skydance pay $1.75 billion to acquire National Amusements. This potential merger builds on the long history of collaboration between Skydance and Paramount, which includes a five-year co-financing and distribution agreement that started in 2009 and was renewed twice before ending in 2021. Skydance has been expanding its reach in recent years, launching Skydance Television in 2013 and Skydance Animation in 2017, and has also signed a multi-year feature film deal with Apple TV+ and secured a $1 billion credit facility for investments. If the merger is successful, it would create a new entity, "New Paramount," with David Ellison at the helm, marking a significant shift in the entertainment industry landscape.
Apex Legends - In Apex Legends Season 22, major changes to the battle pass system have sparked backlash from players. The new format introduces two shorter battle passes per season, requiring separate purchases of $9.99 each and removing the option to buy them with Apex Coins. Additionally, the Premium Bundle now offers fewer tier skips and costs $19.99. Players have widely criticized these changes, calling them the worst decision by EA and Respawn Entertainment.
Bioshock 4 - BioShock 4's development is progressing quickly under Cloud Chamber, according to Senior Cinematic Designer Jeff Spoonhower. The studio is hiring for various roles in writing, design, and art, indicating they have a clear vision for the game. Though still in development, fans might expect a long wait for its release. Additionally, there are rumors of a possible remake of the original BioShock to bridge the gap until BioShock 4 launches.

Suggests
Halo: Infinite

DC Superheroes: Absolute Power - The comic event "Absolute Power" significantly alters the DC Universe by removing superpowers, magic, and time travel. Amanda Waller, with her team Task Force VII, uses upgraded Amazos to strip heroes like Superman, Aquaman, and the Justice Society of America of their powers, making them irretrievable. Waller also seals the timestream and micro-verse, preventing escape. The series promises an accessible entry point for new readers and will shape the DC Universe's future.
/batman: Full Moon - DC has announced a new four-issue Black Label miniseries titled "Batman: Full Moon," debuting on October 9th. Written by Rodney Barnes and illustrated by Stevan Subic, the series pits Batman against a powerful werewolf terrorizing Gotham City. Each issue will feature glow-in-the-dark main covers by Subic and variant covers by artists such as Steve Beach, Francesco Francavilla, and Mike Perkins.

Suggests
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - by Douglas Adams. This classic science fiction novel is a delightful blend of wit, humor, and imaginative storytelling. It follows the misadventures of Arthur Dent, an ordinary human, who is swept off Earth just before it's demolished to make way for a hyperspace bypass. Alongside an eclectic cast of characters, Arthur explores the absurdities of the universe, armed with only a towel and the indispensable guidebook. Its clever satire, quirky characters, and thought-provoking themes make it a must-read for any nerdy aficionado.
