Google Calendar proficiency? Nope. (But that doesn't get you off the hook for learning to use GC properly.)

Ninja-like organizational capabilities on Slack and Trello? Nice, but yeah no.

Research skills honed over the course of attaining an MBA? Valuable and very useful, yes.

But it's not the most important skill all leaders need.

That skill is self-regulation.

Yep. Self-regulation.

Self-regulation is not innate; it is a learned skill and the most important skill a leader can develop.
