For good and bad, our teens know what we are thinking, what makes us happy and sad, what stresses and overwhelmed us, our beliefs and values and much more. They "track" our body language, facial expressions, all of our non-verbal communication and they create mental "maps" that predict how we will act and react. These survival skills are what humans do between each of our "lanes" - it is how we predict where we are safe.

In episode 163, listen to Heidi discuss mapping and tracking with Dr. Jennifer Finalyson-Fife, an expert in marriage and family relationships. Hear how this relates to our teens, what they are mapping about us and how we can change the map if we desire.

A confident mother is the greatest gift to her family.
