We often don't take the time to pay attention to an issue until it directly impacts us or someone in our social circle. We're not heartless, it's just human nature. That being said, it is important that we realize that we are wired this way especially when we decide to judge others not realizing the very thing(s) we are outraged about could be the very thing(s) someone else is upset with us for believing. This selective outrage is certainly a hot button topic especially in today's age. In this episode we address the controversy head on including but not limited to:

  • Target Boycott Against Satanist Designer
  • What is selective outrage and how it impacts societal norms
  • The paradox of selective outrage "it's a problem when I do it..."
  • Selective outrage in the church (John 8)
  • The "ugly" truth
  • In-group bias
  • The signs of the end times (Luke 21)
  • Do not treat prophesies with contempt! Tell me what I want to hear, NO test the spirit. (1 Thessalonians 5)
  • Sin is sin!
  • It's the God in me, the power of our testimony (Revelation 12)
  • Who is your master? Saul rejected as king (1 Samuel 15)

And so much more. Tune in and tell a friend.
