The "baby powder blizzard of 2007," was a pivotal moment that changed the trajectory of my parenting. I decided to abandon traditional disciplinary methods and began challenging the notion that discipline is the essence of parenting.
Drawing from developmental psychology and attachment theory, I eventually discovered the five steps to transition from a corrective to a connective parenting approach.
