About Ling Lam, PhD:

Ling grew up in Hong Kong. Before heading to Stanford for undergrad/grad in Electrical Engineering and was part of the original engineering team that invented HDMI.

After having a quarter life crisis when the HDMI creators went bankrupt he went to Russia to volunteer in orphanage, which led him to change careers in pursuit of coaching and psychotherapy.

Ling has landed at Stanford Graduate School of Business and Santa Clara University as a lecturer.
