Many contractors do not put together a formal and written business plan and it is safe to say that without a formal plan, the odds are high for a business that is underperforming.
This plan must address the functional areas of your business, including financial acumen, sales, production, HR. Operations, etc. Individual departments within a company must have their own plan and that plan feeds into the overall business plan.
Scott talks about the various reasons why so many people do not put together a formal plan. Putting together a plan can seem intimidating, but Scott talks about CCN’s solutions for contractors in making this process much easier. This is a fantastic episode, so don’t miss it.
