Lauren Burns was kidnapped by her father and taken to the country of Jordan in the Middle East when she was just 7 years old.

The 1993 movie "Desperate Rescue: The Cathy Mahone Story" shook audiences with its harrowing account of how Cathy's Muslim ex-husband, Ali, kidnapped their 7-year old daughter and took her overseas to the country of Jordan. The audience saw the events unfold through the eyes of Cathy, a desperate mother who could not get help from the U.S. government, but who instead relied on military special forces who went on a mission to bring her daughter Lauren back.

In this episode, Maria interviews Lauren to get her side of the story, to hear first hand from the little girl that's now all grown up and writing a book about her experiences. Lauren shares the repeated miracles God provided to her mother to help bring her back. In this riveting interview, Lauren showcases how faith in Christ can move mountains. You'll be holding your breath and crying by the end of the show.
