Lessons learned:
- Kickstarter and other crowdfunding platforms are constantly evolving their algorithms that determine how much exposure you get on their platform…be sure you understand them, or talk to someone that does.
- Amanda believes that in order to successfully crowdfund, you need to be decently funded within the first 24-48 hours….around 30%. If you can’t manage that, it could be an uphill climb.
- If your campaign isn’t working, take a look at if it’s a conversion issue (which means people are coming to your KS page but not backing you) a traffic issue, or both.
