Soft power: an interview with Cynthia McGuinn
Manage episode 394076553 series 3461956
Today we have the privilege of sitting down with Cynthia McGuinn, who for most in our world will need no introduction. Her trial verdicts have set records in counties throughout California, and their impacts have changed the way businesses and medical professionals treat the people they are supposed to serve. Beyond her case handling, she has served as the American Board of Trial Advocates National President and Foundation President along with many other state and local leadership roles along the way. She has earned Trial Lawyer of the Year awards from numerous organizations, including the California American Board of Trial Advocates in 2022 and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the San Francisco Trial Lawyers’ Association. Importantly, she invests significant time teaching future trial lawyers how to be effective, ethical, and civil through Masters in Trial programs throughout the country. Enjoy as we explore how a child of depression-era parents emerged from Ohio to become the force she is today.
