This weekend we were blessed to hear a word from Jordan Bird, the Executive Director of The Restore Network; an organization that exists to change the culture of foster care by helping equip churches to say yes to fostering. Jordan shared a beautiful and convicting teaching from James about how our faith must transform our hearts and stir us not just to have compassion on those in need, but to sacrifice what we have and step into their journey just like Jesus did for us.
