Se derrumban la hipótesis de que en las sociedades de nuestros antepasados las mujeres se quedaban a cuidar a los hijos y recolectar frutitas mientras los hombres cazaban a las bestias salvajes.
Una revisión de la literatura y de la evidencia disponible indica que las mujeres también cazaban y que probablemente esas sociedades eran más igualitarias que la nuestra.
