Clostridium difficile Associated Disease is a significant infectious disease in the United States that increases morbidity and mortality. Unfortunately, the incidence of disease is increasing, but there are ways to prevent it. Through enahnced infection control practice and through the principles of antimicrobial stewardship, the incidence of disease can be dramatically reduced. In this podcast, we will discuss strategies to reduce the incidence of disease and protect patients from the consequences of infection
