Several conspirators believe that when Canadian Pop Punk Princess Avril Lavigne came face to face with her doppelganger, they made a secret, lifelong pact and this entire time, we’ve all been tricked into following and listening to an imposter…
The theory goes that shortly after the release of her debut album, the singer fell into a deep depression worsened by the loss of her grandfather, and tragically took her own life.
But because of how much money the young singer was bringing in to her label, they hired a body double, a near clone of Avril named Melissa Vandella to step in and pretend to be her for the rest of her career.
