One in five women will experience some kind of perinatal anxiety or mood disorder - and that is a statistic based on women who self-report. Thank goodness for organizations like Moms Mental Health Initiative, co-founded by this week’s guest, Sarah Ornst Bloomquist. Sarah and her team are making sure women have the support they need by sharing information, connecting them to resources and providing peer-driven support. One in FIVE means someone you know has needed this kind of support. Keep this episode in your pocket to offer to someone who could benefit from learning more!
