A word of the year is a beautiful thing to help guide you throughout the year. It's like choosing the type of soil that you're going to plant the next year in. It's not the goal itself, it's not the plant. It does the nourishing, the supporting, the reminding all in an effort to move you forward, to help you grow, to continually prompt you to move toward your Higher Self and connect with your Creator. A word of the year can be used with any kind of spiritual belief or religion - it's for everyone who wants one.
