Mayor Randy Brown is a life long resident of Evesham Township. During his high school years, Randy was a star athlete in several sports and was named an All-State Football Player. He attended Catawba College, in North Carolina and studied Journalism. He was named NAIA All American-Footbalan and in 2009 he was entered into the Catawba College Hall of Fame.
In 1991, Randy assisted his father in establishing United Title & Abstract Agency, as a co-founder. Together they grew the business into multimillion dollar annual revenues. Randy remains an engaged specialist in the field of residential, commercial and institutional title insurance.
In addition to a successful business career, Randy also remained active in the sports arena. After college, and while establishing his business career, Randy had coached for the Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles , and currently coaches for the Baltimore Ravens. In 2008, Randy signed with the Baltimore Ravens and in 2012 he was an integral part of the Ravens in winning Super Bowl XLVII. He has frequently appeared on ESPN Radio, 610WIP Radio, and Comcast Sports Net, as a NFL analyst.
As the Mayor of Evesham Township, since 2007 Randy has many accomplishments which include
- Established the Evesham Celebrations Foundation, which provides township events such as: Taste of Evesham, Independence Day Celebration, Harvest Festival, and the Mayor’s 5k Run.
- Created the Cherokee Champions Foundation, a committee which secured donations for the 2009 construction of a multipurpose turf field, built for the thousands of children in Evesham Township.
- Lead the construction of the Diamonds at Arrowhead Park and the 9/11 Memorial on Main Street, both being award winning civic projects.
- Redeveloped the RT 70 circle
