If you were a fan of "American Horror Story", you may remember this character from America's history--Madame LaLaurie. If you were not a fan of that television show, buckle up, because you're in for a story about the worst of humanity. Madame Delphine LaLaurie was born into wealth and privilege in the late 1780s to a family in New Orleans. She married and was widowed three times, the last husband being lost in a housefire where finally, the true depravity of what was going on inside of her mansion, with her slaves, was discovered.
