On September 23rd, 2022 at approximately 4:49 p.m. the Houma Police Department responded to the Liberty Street Bridge in reference to a child being thrown into Bayou Terrebonne from the Liberty Street Bridge. It was there that police discovered an 18 month old little boy was thrown into the bayou off of the bridge, with another child near the water and a third child left abandoned in a car.
