The Columbine High School tragedy is a gruesome and horrible event that shocked the nation when two teenagers, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, decided to attack their classmates and teachers. The tragic story affected not only those in the state of Colorado but every person in the United States. The effects of which can still be felt to this day. The aftermath of this incident brought about anti-bullying campaigns and talks about violence in video games as the culprits were portrayed as victims of bullying and enjoying violence in the media. However, the true reason for their actions cannot be explained away so easily.
This case discusses the perpetrators of one of the most horrific school incidents at the time, as well as honor and remember the victims whose lives were claimed at such a young age.
