This is a special episode that was inspired by the participation in a prestigious program MIRAI in Japan. The guest was born and raised in Romania. In the episode, we share our common experience from the MIRAI program, organized by JICE (Japan International Cooperation Centre) in February 2024. We talked about Japan, Japanese food and culture, and how it is to cook Japanese food in Europe. We discussed our experience visiting several Japanese companies and institutions in Japan, such as Panasonic, JAXA: Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, Cyberdyne Studio, RIKEN Centre for Brain Science, and Shibaura Institute of Technology. We also discussed what we had learned during a traditional Japanese tea ceremony and in the Ibaraki Prefectural Museum and Archives when trying on Kabuto and Jūnihitoe.
