Welcome to another episode of Crossing the Chasm, Today, I am joined by Jessica Tovar, an energy democracy organizer with Local Clean Energy Alliance. For over two decades, Jessica has fought for climate justice, fighting against polluting corporations in California. More recently, she has focused on a just energy transition, working for clean energy development and community energy control. Jessica grew up in an industrial pollution corridor in East Los Angeles, a lived experience that has given her a unique perspective and a lifelong passion for working towards environmental justice.
