Ben Franklin was perceptive and honest when he penned these words: “There is perhaps no one of our natural passions so hard to subdue as pride. Beat it down, stifle it, mortify it as much as one pleases, it is still alive. Even if I could conceive that I had completely overcome it, I should probably be proud of my humility.” So why bother pursue humility? Can we really kill it? Being humble seem like a bard, singing a joke on us that we will never, ever experientially understand. Or is it? The Bible is clear though: when God demands something from us (a command or an instruction), we are sure that His grace has provided power for us to do so. What He demanded from us, He provided for us. This is true in salvation and even in our sanctification. This is no joke. We have a solution… Listen and know more about this on our CROSSCAST entry today 😉 #CrossRadioPH
