No one should pick Byakuya.

Mario, Sonic, Master Chief, Crash Bandicoot, Pepino Spaghetti, Wario, Croc, Ratchet, Clank, Phoenix Wright, Ryu, Mega Man, Cloud, Klonoa, Kiryu, Goku, Big the Cat, Kirby, Byakuya Togami, and Spyro. Wild card picks were Delsin Rowe, Orphan of Kaz(?), Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite, and Eggman.
I'd link to a Byakuya wiki page so you can also know who he is, but I bet it'd have serious spoilers, so just imagine he's Bakura from Yu-Gi-Oh and you'll be fine for all intents and purposes.
