Confidence In The Faithfulness Of God - Matthew 1:1-17

When was the last time you were confident there would be no traffic on a Monday morning or Friday afternoon rush hour? It's difficult to place confidence in something that is more often proven unlikely to happen, right? Being confident in something or someone means having a firm belief and assurance in its certainty.
How about the faithfulness of God? How confident are we in that? Matthew 1:1-17 reveals God's unwavering faithfulness through the lineage of Jesus Christ. This genealogy underscores Jesus as the fulfillment of God's promises to David and Abraham, demonstrating God's steadfast commitment to His covenant and providing assurance that His promises are true and trustworthy.
