We are so excited to introduce you to Janine Firpo, a values-aligned investor, angel investor, and social innovator. In 2017 she left her 35-year career in technology and international development to focus on how women can create a more just and equitable society through their financial investments. In 2018 Janine launched a club to help women invest all their assets – from cash to public equities to private investments – in ways that align with their values. AND she is the author of Activate Your Money.

In this episode we explore:

  • How ESG investing (stock market) is performing better than the S&P500
  • Why women are better at investing
  • What ESG investing actually is
  • Why ESG investing isn’t perfect
  • How to use other asset classes to invest in efforts more aligned to your values
  • How to become a “constant learner” when it comes to money & investing
  • What Investment Clubs are
  • The power of Women working together to make investing more accessible!
