Lisa Matzi is the lead product designer of Ferly, which is an audio guide to mindful sex delivered through a beautiful app. As the lead product designer, Lisa carried out extensive user research, speaking with hundreds of women about their relationships to themselves, to others and their relationship to sex. From the insights gained from that research, Lisa developed prototypes and eventually the final app. In our conversation we find out what mindful sex actually is, the main questions and commonalities that Lisa heard across the hundreds of interviews she did, how shame influences our relationship to pleasure, and so much more.
