Cecilia Garza was born & raised in South Texas. She is a self taught artist/maker who has always had a passion for creating. Cecilia wants her work to inspire creativity, love, compassion, and encouragement not only within our individual selves but also in the world around us.
Cecilia finds that the amazing family & friends that surround her, along with the individuals she meets in everyday experiences & interactions are her biggest inspiration.
"I see art as our story teller", she explains - It’s a time machine into our past and a wish for our future. It’s a universal language that allows us to connect from worlds apart. Art invokes emotion and can help us to have empathy, love, and understanding.
