All the way back to the era of “Mods” and “Casuals” in Britain, fashion and style have played a role in fan representation in Soccer. From luxury brands like Balmain, Comme Des Garcons, and Vetements, to super popular streetwear brands like Supreme, Palace, and Off-White, everyone seems to want hop on board this recent soccer-inspired craze.
We take some time to discuss when, where, and why soccer and fashion have come together in the past, and how these two worlds are coming together now in a way we haven’t ever seen before.
Our passion for this topic is evident, given our active participation in the field of fashion and soccer, through our very own Soccer-inspired brand called Trebl. We get deep into why this new phenomenon is not only great for us, but for the sport as a whole in the United States.
