On this week’s Cut to the Race, Abby takes her turn in the host seat and is joined by Hannah to discuss the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix.

The panel begin by touching on the touching tributes to Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger 30 years on from their passing's. Abby and Hannah then dissect the three free practice sessions, which proved to be action-packed with three red flags.

They discuss Alex Albon and Williams’ bad run of luck as well as Aston Martin’s lack of performance and Max Verstappen’s struggles before they dive into qualifying.

Abby and Hannah talk through each qualifying session, discussing surprise Q1 exits, an impeding issue and penalty for Oscar Piastri and Verstappen’s ability to put it all together when it matters.

The duo give their race and national anthem ratings ahead of talking through key points of the race such as the opening few laps, Albon’s tyre issue and the ending when the race really came alive with Lando Norris hunting down Verstappen.

They end by giving their Drivers of the Day, with some honourable mentions and similar thinking, and their predictions for Monaco.
