On this episode, Cyrus is joined by standup comedian Sahil Shah to talk about how he got started in comedy, starting out with the first wave of standup comics in India, forming the EIC - East India Comedy collective, and lots more. They also talk about the power of self-deprecating humour, starting doing open mics at the ripe old age of 17 to 18 years, using area names of Mumbai as insults, coming from a family of doctors, how he told his parents that he was doing comedy, how his father tried standup as well because of him, starting to make money through comedy and what that felt like.
