N9KO: Just downloaded the new version 9522 of BlueDV for the ThumbDV software.pa7lim.nl/BlueDV/BETA/Windows/ This has a separate Dstar menu for the XLX reflectors. I used 313A and see that I am hitting the XLX313 Reflector Dashboard.
N9KO: FYI ... When you connect you will hear you are connected to DCS 313 A
KH7FU: For users of TyToolz firmware on their MD-380/390...on 02JUL18, Ty Weaver has announced he will no longer continue to support the experimental firmware or user database project. A great alternative that is regularly maintained is the KD4Z Toolkit.
KH7FU: The following link is for the Facebook group dedicated to support and information about the above mentioned toolkit. www.facebook.com/groups/KD4ZToolkit/
K6KD: Screen shot from KH7FU / Justin showing his screen - my info coming from the global database, not a contact list d-star-roundtable.boards.net/thread/364/screen-shot-kh7fu-firmware-upgrade
W4RFJ: Greetings!
k6fed: Here is a email I got from David PA7LIM: Hi Frank,
The XLX DSTAR connects with the DCS protocol to the XLX reflector. That is correct. XLX has no own protocol so I had to choose between XRF, REF or DCS.
I contacted Luc the maker of XLX and we choose DCS
K6KD: K6FED - the DSC protocol is probably the best one, except for the range of legacy DCS protocols 1- approximately 35. That range also occupied by REF - so XRF would be best except for legacy XRF reflectors already there
KD4IZ: Anyone notice that Guus’ website has been throwing a 404? Several days have seen this.
W4RFJ: I doubled too... tripled?
k6fed: I sent Guus a email earlier today to notify him the www.dvmega.auria.nl/ site is down. It was late at night there so, we’ll see what he says in the morning.
W4RFJ: Just soakin' it up! ;-)
k6fed: www.pa7lim.nl/peanut/
KE0OMT: Text based web browser LYNX lynx.invisible-island.net/ also in the repository 'apt-get install lynx'
