Episode 8 of the weekly Podcast with Bryan Guido Hassin of Third Derivative and Danny Kennedy of New Energy Nexus. They discuss the journey these two companies have chosen to take, to boldly go where no climatetech accelerator has gone before.

This week's Topics:
1. 630 apps from 61 countries, broad range; ⅔ founders historically underrepresented
2. 80% came through networks, especially direct outreach
- Making direct outreach easy was important
3. Paid ads on twitter, LinkedIn to targeted audiences - diminishing returns after 3 weeks
4. Content marketing (blog posts) helpful
5. Tight startup-oriented value prop
6. Not as many VC referrals as hoped
7. Emphasizing rolling apps didn’t work
Startup: SeeO2 Energy
SeeO2 Energy is developing an electrolyser that can produce high-value industrial gases by converting CO2 to carbon monoxide, CO2, and water to syngas (a mixture of CO and H2) and water to hydrogen. These gases are used in the green plastics, chemical, petrochemical, and metal-processing industries, but they are currently produced primarily from fossil sources.
