Maya's actions are known to everyone in the village. Brij Bhushan decides to visit the village after learning about Maya's influence on the leaders. Meanwhile, Maya, Shukla, and a group of workers start digging in the cauliflower field. As the night progresses, a curious lover from the village spots the activity and rushes to inform the village priest, Pandit. Pandit, shocked by what he sees, immediately contacts Brij Bhushan, who is on his way to the village. The digging continues, and Maya remains tense, holding her service revolver. A crowd gathers, and just when it seems like trouble is inevitable, bats swarm around the banyan tree, creating chaos. Shukla smiles, realizing the distraction has bought them time.
