As we approach the end of 2022, I was led to Paul’s prayer for the believers at the church of Ephesus, in Ephesians1:17-23, in anticipation of what will occur in 2023. Have you ever thought about what caused Paul to pray this prayer for the saints? They were already believers, and the testimony of their faith in the Lord Jesus and their love for all the saints was good. However, Paul felt the need to pray for them, not just a typical prayer, but a prayer of power and focus. I believe Paul’s pray identifies a critical need in our lives today. His prayer focuses on three key areas:
1. The knowledge of God - verse 17
2. What is the hope of His calling - verse 18
3. What is the wealth of His glorious inheritance in the saints - verse 18
4. What is the incomparable greatness of His power towards us who believe - verse 19
Join me as I break down Paul’s prayer. Download now to learn more about his prayer of revelation and how understanding this prayer can change your walk with God our Father.
