Hailing from the German city of Leipzig, his sound has developed and reached exciting heights as his musical journey has taken him from his vivid city's club scene onto exploring Chicago house, techno and acid and finally oscillating towards minimalistic forms of deep house and percussive reduced tech-house as well as tracks on the techno side. After releasing on several net labels Sven's career really took off as his vinyl release (a collab with Daniel Stefanik) on the Moon Harbour sub label Cargo Edition came out in 2007. Since then his tracks have appeared on EPs released by labels such as Cocoon Recordings, Smallville Records, Poker Flat Recordings, Liebe*Detail and Ornaments. as well as 2020Vision and the Berlin based label Katermukke. Sven Väth was especially impressed by Tasnadi early on and licensed his track "Waiting For You Again" for his "Sound of Season" compilation. At the same time, Sven produced more than a dozen remixes for Steve Bug, Johannes Heil, Anja Schneider and others. With regular releases on Cargo Edition, as one of its most important artists, Sven had a considerable impact on the label’s sound. Since a few years Sven has taken it a step further and is focussing on his own label - Headfire International, which has releases of Sven himself and the likes of Daniel Stefanik and Steve Bug. Playing at countless clubs and festivals across Europe Sven Tasnadi has regularly visited cities like Ibiza, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Stockholm, Barcelona and Rome, not to mention having played several times at the infamous Fabric London. Constantly working on new material, Sven keeps hitting the road to continue to DJ (or play live) and mesmerise the dancing crowds at the most important venues across Europe.
