In a time where the world was transitioning from trains and carriages to automobiles, much of the nation still stayed connected by traveling by railroad. On a night in 1909, a combination of foggy weather, miscommunication, and an overcomplicated system led to a tragic crash and 7 men not going home to their families. The accident helped shed light on processes that did not work, and either the ineptitude or haughtiness by someone in charge. This episode will cover the 1909 train crash that took place in Delmar, Delaware.
