Published a few hours past Memorial Day 2020. 💝In 1915, T. Harold Watts wrote a letter to a friend back home in England. His letter is an interesting window to what life was like in battle in World War One, “the Great War,” I believe it was called. UPDATE- Thomas Harold Watts did survive the war. Here is Information from the National Archives of the U.K.: Thomas Harold Watts, 18 June 1915, Dardanelles. Born: 28 August 1884, Regiment: Drakes Battalion, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, Died: 11 September 1953
