Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. Normandy Falls is an LA based artist who focuses on using primarily eurorack modular systems for his recordings and for live sets. He started producing electronic music in 2012 after being in various accoustic bands. Normandy's first full album "Arrangements Of The Cosmos" was released on Aural Canyon (an Austin based label) in Feb of 2018. "Pygoscelis" was recorded live in one take using a eurorack modular system. All effects have been done using eurorack as well. This song is inspired by the migration of the chinstrap penguin, starting in Antarctica, swimming North to warmer S. American waters, and then returning back to Antarctica.
