At some point during 2018 majijuana will be made legal for recreational use. Governments, law enforcement, and business are still sorting out how to navigate what happens in the lead-up to this change. The Cannabis Canada Association hosted a Business Opportunity Forum in conjunction with the Calgary Chamber of Commerce where they heard from the Executive Chairman of one Alberta enterprise with preparations for selling legal pot well underway.
Ted Hellard used to be one of the owners of the CFL's Calgary Stampeders but made his name mostly in the high tech sector. He's now turned his attention to Sundial Growers, a marijuana growing facilty in southern Alberta. Ted Hellard spoke with Russell Bowers about the opportunities he sees in pot industry.
