Eelco Brand werd opgeleid tot kunstschilder, maar maakt tegenwoordig ‘bewegende schilderijen’ op de computer, met 3D-software. Werk van Brand is momenteel te zien in kunstcentrum HEDEN in Den Haag en op de tentoonstelling Märklinworld in KAdE in Amersfoort. Gijsbert van der Wal sprak met de kunstenaar in zijn atelier in een voormalige kauwgomballenfabriek in Breda. In De Avonden van 23 september werd een montage van hun gesprek uitgezonden.
