In Transwijk verandert het verwaarloosde pleintje aan de Egginklaan in een speelparadijs voor kinderen. Er staat een voetbalkooi waar ooit lage struikjes groeiden. De nieuwe schommel waar je in kunt liggen is dag en nacht bezet. De buurt heeft zelf het initiatief genomen en werkt nauw samen met alle betrokken instanties.
Het begon allemaal met een brief van buurtbewoonster Astrid Breul aan de burgemeester over de vergeten kinderen van Transwijk en het eindigt als een modern sprookje.
