Cinco de sus libros abordan el microrrelato, un género por el que obtuvo el máximo reconocimiento, tanto que en España la llaman “la reina del microrrelato”. En México, en 2016, recibió el Premio Hispanoamericano Arreola de Microrrelato en su primera entrega. “Todos los Universos Posibles, microrrelatos” es su última obra que reúne la totalidad de sus libros del género. Pero esta escritora argentina, además profesora en Letras y Máster en Artes y Literatura, es autora de una profusa obra integrada por novelas, cuentos, poesía y literatura infantil. Sus libros fueron publicados en Brasil, España, Italia, Francia, Alemania, Corea y Estados Unidos. En 2014 recibió el premio Konex de Platino y el Premio Nacional de Literatura.
