Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. Welcome to a truly international Decomposed Radio show number 28, this time coming at ya' all the way from Karlsruhe, in Southern Germany, and featuring Daniel Metzger, who I was lucky enough to meet recently at the amazing "Awakenings" festival in Amsterdam.
Daniel describes DJing as "his religion" and is a regular face behind the decks on the Karlsruhe techno scene, as well as many other events throughout Germany.
Metzger's definition of techno that he plays in his sets always features floating beats, emotive melodies, and baselines that you really feel in your gut, and the mix that he's provided for the show definitely has all this, and plenty more!
