Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. Show number 054 showcases 18 year old Sheffield based DJ, and very talented producer "Porter Brook" also known as Peter Murch.
He'll be joining myself and Decomposed Radio favourite "C.B.R." on the lineup of up and coming Leeds techno night "The Motif" taking place at Eiger Studios on the 26th of October.
Influenced heavily by artists such as Brian Eno, LTJ Bukem and Underground Resistance, Porter Brook's musical style is a blend of ambient, techno, breakbeat and UK hardcore and his mix for the show includes a selection of original unreleased tracks, alongside selected existing cuts.
