Cdr Shiv Mathur is a veteran of the Indian Navy. He did B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from REC/NIT Warangal in 1989. He worked in the Indian Navy from 1989 to 2005 and retired with the rank of Commander. He also worked in IT and Telecom sectors in senior positions. In companies like IBM, TATA, and Reliance Jio. He quit the corporate job in March 2019 where he was employed as Asst Vice President. He moved to Warsaw, Poland in Mar 2019 and was there till Nov 2020. He had a strong spiritual calling in 2015 which took him into the depths of the spiritual world and many beautiful secrets got unraveled in his journey of self-discovery. The Himalayas became his second home. A meditative state of mind is something that came to him as a surprise but he discovered the process which he subconsciously went through leading to this gift of peace of mind. He wants to share this experiential knowledge with others so that they can also get transformed if they are sincerely seeking”. That’s how he undertook writing three books from May 2022 to Aug 2022.

He taught meditation in many countries in Europe from 2018 to 2020. He was invited to give a talk on mediation and spirituality in a few places in Europe. During his visit to the interiors of the Himalayas, he met a few self-realized yogis. He has made videos of his interaction with these yogis as well as videos on meditation and spirituality, which are there on his YouTube channel by the name Shiv Mathur.
