He is the Pastor of a county seat church and a Justice of the Peace in the state of Texas. Judge/Pastor GJ talks about his unique position and how it came to be. GJ Walton is the pastor of FBC Silverton. He and his family moved to serve here 10 years ago. GJ also serves the community as a Justice of the Peace for Briscoe county. GJ is passionate about the unique role of the rural church in today’s culture. GJ holds a BA from Baylor University, MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, has doctoral studies in Christian worldview and cultural engagement, and is currently finishing a Doctorate in Business Management at Wayland Baptist University.
