In this episode of Difference Makers, Jim Boghos interviews Nicholas Stein, the former showrunner of National Geographic's hit show Border Wars turned Mindfulness & Meditation Teacher.

They talk about Nick's days spent on the US/MX border and how the atrocities he and his team experienced there finally brought him to give meditation and mindfulness a try.

Nicholas' experience with mindfulness & meditation had such a profound effect on his entire life that he decided to leave the television business and devote himself fully to helping others start and maintain a practice of their own, eventually writing a book "Mindfulness as a Second Language" on the subject.

Nick currently teaches mindfulness & meditation in a variety of settings, including to law enforcement officers, at corporate events & higher education institutions, as well as hosting online sessions. For more information, please visit his website strategicstillness.com.
