David tells us how he accidentally got into the translation business while studying for his PhD and that job has allowed him to work from home and to live where he has wanted for almost 30 years. He clearly loves the freedom of working from home and has some insights in how to best manage it. He also discusses the translation business, and how it is like any other B2B knowledge-based services business. Finally he gives some interesting perspectives on the financial effects of the globalization of remote work, and contending with AI / machine learning in one's vocation
